A safety valve, also known as a pressure relief valve (PRV) or safety relief valve, is a critical safety device installed on pressurized equipment such as pressure vessels, pipelines, boilers, and similar systems. When the internal pressure of the medium (e.g., gas, liquid, or steam) within the protected equipment exceeds a preset value, the valve automatically opens to discharge the excess medium, preventing further pressure buildup. Equipment to test incoming raw material is also present at the lab, such as a magnetic particle tester, optical spectrum analyzer, and X-ray tester among others.
